TITLE: The Shatterproof Entrepreneur.
SUBTITLE: Building An Unbreakable Business Legacy.
BOOK DESCRIPTION: "The Shatterproof Entrepreneur," presents a comprehensive approach to building resilient and sustainable businesses. The book emphasizes the inevitability of challenges in the business world and stresses the importance of resilience in facing adversity. It highlights the concept of "Shatterproofing" a business, drawing inspiration from the safety glass used in car windshields, which doesn't shatter upon impact.
The book identifies two primary types of business owners: "CAPTIVES," who are overwhelmed and cannot take a break from their businesses without facing chaos, and "SHATTERPROOF" entrepreneurs, who have established systems and processes, clear goals, and can step away from their businesses without encountering problems. It raises critical questions about why some business owners become "CAPTIVES" while others achieve a "SHATTERPROOF" state and explores the transition from one to the other.
Reib points out that many well-intentioned business founders often lack a comprehensive roadmap or blueprint, leading to vulnerabilities in their businesses. Reflecting on his own journey from being a "CAPTIVE" to becoming "SHATTERPROOF," Reib shares insights from his experiences and the lessons he learned along the way.
The book addresses the legal aspects of businesses, an often overlooked area in entrepreneurial literature, providing readers with a roadmap and the necessary legal systems and structures to build a "SHATTERPROOF" business. This approach led to the development of Reib's Access Legal Coaching Subscription and the Shatterproof Process.
Reib encourages business owners to shift their paradigm, viewing lawyers as primary care providers for their businesses rather than turning to them only in emergencies. "The Shatterproof Entrepreneur" is an invitation to make this paradigm shift and provides a roadmap for becoming a resilient and successful entrepreneur.
