Illustration Design Brief

We are looking for a full page (A4, landscaped) illustration to use as a cover for a photo book for a juvenile justice project in Morocco. The project works directly with juveniles and youth at risk as well as with the juvenile justice system in Morocco. The background should use red and green colors (the colors of the Moroccan flag) in an abstract composition. The foreground should be subtle and suggestive rather than descriptive and provide a suggestion or abstract representation of the concept of juvenile justice or of a local community. The final illustration should be a light suggestion to justice to be adapted to represent the concepts of access to justice, youth at risk, and fairness of justice.

Illustrations developed for similar projects in other countries are attached (Kosovo: Blue & Yellow Flag / Bangladesh: Green and Red Flag / Tunisia: Red and White Flag)

Nice to have

• The illustration should include subtle concepts that relate to access to justice or juvenile justice topics , in a black/dark gray, on a abstract red and green background to tie into the Moroccan flag. Other ideas/interpretations are welcome.
