Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for our company and app. FABDACS© is the acronym for the “Functional Analysis of Behaviour Data Assessment and Collection System”. It is the name of our company and the name of our app.
The FABDACS© app (web-based, apple and android) is designed to collect data and analyse data for people that have behaviours of concern such as self-harm, physical aggression, verbal aggression, absconding etc. It is being initially developed in Australia for people with a disability. However, the potential application is much broader both in terms of geographical scope and client groups.
FABDACS© will be used by behaviour support practitioners. It will help them to:
• Collect data and evidence
• Better understand the function and purpose of behaviour
• Develop individually targeted supports and strategies to help address behaviours of concern
• Understand when behaviour is improving by measuring frequency, intensity and duration
• Assess any trends, patterns and variations in behaviour over time
• Make informed decisions about both the use and reduction of restrictive practices.
FABDACS© uses a QR code and associated weblink (URL) to access the data collection form. There are some existing products on the market.
What makes FABDACS© different is that data is collected in a very unique way. It is also quick and simple. It is also one of the most comprehensive reporting measures available in real time.
We would like to see designs that are simple and classy, and symbolise what the app does (eg, some graphs to represent data). The design should be distinct and communicate trust. Working in partnership with people is also important.
The slogan we want included is "Quality Data. Quality Life"
