Logo Design Brief

We have recently amalgamated our football/netball club (Australian Rules Football, not soccer) with another neighbouring club and need a new logo. Our new name is Southern Mallee Thunder and the colours to be used are #000000 for black, #FFFFFF for white, and #008AAB for teal. The logo will be used on advertising material, merchandise, signage and other sports club related items. Ideally we would like to have a couple of versions of the same logo, one that just uses the THUNDER and has some sort of symbol or standalone logo, something that is great for social media identifiers or smaller logos on shirts etc., and then one with the full Southern Mallee Thunder included. The emphasis should always be on THUNDER. We want our logo to make us easy identifiable and maybe even have some elements of fun, although we're open to any suggestions! Being able to recreate the logo in mono tones is also helpful, but not a requirement.
