Logo Design Brief

Looking for a logo for a new gun shop. My logo should not just speak to the "good old boys club." We are looking for a logo that says hunting, sports and personal safety to both men and our adventurous women clients. Brownings Buckmark logo is a cool look, but we are not really sure what kind of design speaks to: Tennessee, wildlife, hunting and/or personal safety.
