T-shirt Design Brief
We need a commemorative t-shirt designed for a food festival event featuring barbecue restaurants from the city of Houston.
The general themes are fire and smoke. It is related to Mexican-American cooking and culture ("Tex-Mex"), which may factor into the design.
The front of the shirt should include some representation of the words "Tex-Mex BBQ Block Party". Figurative images may include flame(s), cooking utensils such as knives, and possibly images related to Mexican or Mexican-American culture.
The design should fit in the central part of the front of the shirt, do not expand to the sides of the shirt or the shirtsleeves.
The back of the shirt should include details about the event and should be mostly if not all text. Similar to a music festival t-shirt where the bands are listed on the back. It should be in a block in the center of the shirt, not on the edges or shirtsleeves.
The event details are: "2023 Tex-Mex BBQ Block Party" and the date "23 July 2023". The location is "Saint Arnold Brewing Co."
Try to avoid images of backyard-type grills as we have used these quite frequently in the past.

This should be designed as a multi-color print on a dark t-shirt. The color of the shirt will probably be navy (dark blue) or black. However, we would welcome some advice on recommended color of the t-shirt that would work with the design.
The design should be figurative and dynamic and not include any literal pictures of things. It may have a retro or vintage feel to it.
We also included images of previous t-shirt designed for similar events.
Source files provided should be editable as vector graphics (PDF preferred), for example in case we need to change the lineup of participants on the back.
