Good morning, Thank you all for your submissions! I have updated the brief as well as uploaded several logos of Disney Earmarked Travel Agencies. Earmarked is Disneys preferred status identifier for the top agencies. They look closely at logos to ensure no big Disney elements are infringing. My understanding is they are very strict about this. However, since our name is Magic Vacations Travel we can have a magic element like a wand just not Mickey holding the wand. And fireworks is more global but not ok if fireworks over a castle. Some use the red, black and yellow color scheme which is Mickey Mouse colors. I have extended the deadline to allow time to review all submissions again even those that were previously eliminated. So if you would like to submit something new everyone is in the running. Also I will be authorizing a larger budget so please take a good look at these examples and the revised brief. Also keep in mind it shouldn’t have too many elements cluttering the logo. A couple did the sand castle and cruise ship and it was too many elements. If artsy creative is your thing go that way, if cool fonts are your thing go that way, go with what you are best at please. We want to blow the others socks off and this logo will be getting major exposure across all channels of marketing.
Thank you all very much!
MJ

Hi! Wonderful challenge! I'm so excited to get started and see what solutions we can come up with. Let's brainstorm together and make this succeed. Can you please give me your web and/or social media sites; that helps a lot. Thank you! -Sunil Christian.

Please see last several pictures attached. This is an idea I came up with that ties the old sign with our name I also added a kind of shooting star or Astro style oval with stars on it to create a sense of motion. Some of the designers have something similar but I am going with this sign look. If you just change the colors a little different from the original but close enough to tie in the original thought. Use your own artistic touches please. Some other ideas would be to have some very small hidden style items floating like a crystal ball, small rocket,

Hi All! I added 1 more photo of a sign we had from the 67th year at Disneyland. It’s an interpretation of the original Disneyland sign. You can see how they added some yellow boxes for each letter. You can see the font looks similar but a little more fun. It’s also got a few more flags and color boxes behind the letters. For the colors they used primary colors but I think a little more mid century modern colors would work. Please if you looked at previous posts and went this direction thank you and please make these little changes. Id like to see some options too so if you want to do a little more abstract, artistic, variable fonts and colors please do. Thank you!!

I added a color palette to use for inspiration of mid century also I added 2 pictures of Shag art so you can see what I meant by artistic feel. Simply for your consideration. Most of what I am getting looks like clip art. If you are using a rocket, jungle cruise boat, train, gondola sky bucket, this may give you a little to go on. These elements should only be used as a nugget or morsel an Easter egg like “look how they used the train, boat, crystal ball, rocket, balloon, magic wand in the picture. Like little hidden mickeys you find in the theme parks in the rocks, shadows, ornate metal works, etc… there are hundreds of these hidden Mickeys in Disneyland so I thought we could use some, almost secretly, within the artistic elements of the logo. I know it’s asking a lot but you are the best of the best at this. I appreciate your efforts and attention to these minute details. Thanks and blessings!
