Logo Design Brief

We are looking for a logo design for a established sports events. The event will be called the "Crosshaven Challenge" - this event is a community triathlon that has been running for 20 years.

The logo will be used though all branding / flags / banners / signage, medals etc. I like to see only two colors used, Black and surprise us we are open to anything as long as it's bright!
crosshavenchallenge.ie - will give you a taste of where the event will be held.
