Flyer Design Brief

We are seeking an updated brochure in a standard 8.5 by 11 size, and we have provided the current brochure and necessary information for inclusion. We desire a fresh new design that conveys a modern and elegant aesthetic. As we anticipate making changes to the brochure periodically, we require an editable program for its creation. Our First Nation Community values our beliefs and appearance, and we hope the brochure will reflect our welcoming nature while standing out from the crowd.

Page one. A redesign All the info on the page needs to be there but it needs a face lift.
Page two. Information is attached for that but do need this page editable for future. Join us for an immersive cultural experience at Doig River First Nation (DRFN) community, located in Northeastern BC. We invite you to participate in the Kema Camping Experience, a unique opportunity to forge relationships with our community, connect with our Chief and Council, and engage with industry leaders. Your participation in this grassroots event will earn your company credibility for the work it performs in DRFN territory.

Through this experience, you'll gain an appreciation and understanding of our community and cultural values, while meeting with key office staff, industry C-Suite level executives, industry Indigenous relations staff, and local, regional, and provincial representatives in a positive and welcoming space. The recent Yahey V. British Columbia 2021 decision has significantly shifted how consultation and engagement will be managed on our lands. To help you better understand why managing cumulative effects is essential to DRFN, we welcome you to join us for a three-day camping experience from May 23 to May 26, 2023.

The Kema Camping Experience offers a variety of activities, including a dinner visit to TSE 'K'wa, the 12,500-year-old cave, where an archeological dig is currently underway, accompanied by our economic development corporation team from Uujo Development LP. The event also includes traditional bush camping in elegant teepees/wall tents, dry meat making, and participation in our Doig Day, a 30+ year cultural education and anti-racism event held on May 25, 2023. During Doig Day, over 400+ students from School District #60 participate in traditional activities, including moose hide preparation, beaver skinning, archaeology dig, dry-meat making, trapping demonstrations, Bannock on a stick, storytelling, drumming, and tea dance around the campfire to the beat of our drums.

Root yourself to the land, connect with your inner self, and be transformed alongside other important dignitaries as you partake in these multi-sensory experiences on our cultural grounds. This is our second combined camping/Doig Day experience, and we hope to continue and build on it for future cultural tourism activities such as guided bush camps, hikes, and hunts.

If you are unable to join us for the full three-day camping experience, we encourage you to join us for the one-day Doig Day event, along with other important decision-makers and political leaders. We have a helicopter landing area close to the activities for your convenience. Please RSVP to Levi Davis, Tsaa?
