Car Wrap Design Brief
Objective: To design an eye-catching and professional ambulance wrap that promotes Lakeland College and Lakeland College’s Emergency Training Centre and first responder training programs. The wrap should generate excitement and engagement. The design must include the Lakeland College brand and Lakeland College’s Emergency Training Centre sub brand. This ambulance will be used to train paramedic on campus, as well used for road tours and attend various events and conferences. So we expect to show it in action while training on our social media accounts and such, and also make a huge presence when we take it on the road
There is no requirement that this unit must look like a proper Ambulance and would actual rather prefer it doesn’t. With that being said though, we are not opposed to having it look like a European style ambulance as the bright yellow is eye catching and the green is similar to a primary colour that Lakeland College uses.
We would like to see a full or half chevron pattern on the rear of the Ambulance and the colours can match your design, they do not have to be red and yellow. It will need to say either "Training Vehicle", "Not for Emergency Use" or something similar on each side and on the back so that it can not be mistaken for a real active ambulance.
Target audience: The target audience for the ambulance wrap is prospective students who want to or may be considering becoming first responders, and currently active first responders. It can be a little flared to paramedic training but would like it to reflect our wide range of first responder training.
Key messaging perceived through your artwork:
• Lakeland College Emergency Training Centre is the best first responder training school in Canada.
• We take training seriously and offer professional training.
• Our audience is driven to choose us as their training institution,
Design specifications:
• The design must cover the entire exterior of the ambulance, not to include the roof of the body
• The design must include the college's corporate logos and identity.
• If the design should incorporate images and graphics, they are relevant to first responder industry/community.
• The design should be attention-grabbing and professional.
• The design should generate trust and confidence.
• The design should be suitable for use during paramedic training on campus and at various events and conferences.
• The design will NOT include the word “Ambulance” anywhere.
• The design needs to be exportable to a decal shop so it can be printed and applied to the vehicle
We have included our branding guidelines as a reference but please feel free to be creative and step outside the guidelines to really pull off something amazing.
