**THE BRIEF**
We need a poster & key artwork for Chamberlain Ballet’s upcoming show in Spring 2023.
This poster will also act as the key art & style guide for the rest of our marketing campaign. We’ll create banners, postcards and simpler versions of the the final poster you design for the rest of our marketing activity.
We are trying to reach a different audience with this campaign - they are young professionals who might not be aware of our Ballet company, and that may not regularly attend performances like this.
As such, the design needs to be eye catching and visually arresting.
The show is a mixed bill of classical and contemporary dances, with a slightly different lineup on each of the two nights.
**DETAILS**
- It is called “Sleeping Beauty Wakes”
- The tagline is “The Marriage of Classical and Contemporary”
- “Featuring guest artists from Orlando Ballet, Bruce Wood Dance, Paul Taylor Alumni”
- Original works by: Askew, Broomhead, Khobdeh, Story
- There are two shows: 25th & 26th May
- It is at the Eisemann Center, Richardson
- The URL we want people to visit is chamberlainballet.org/spring/
- Please leave a square space on the poster for a QR code (we will replace later on)
- Our logo is attached - please use this with some copy that says “{logo} presents”
- Please leave a space for the logo of our primary sponsor (TBC - feel free to use a generic holding logo for now which we will swap out) and this needs to say “sponsored by {logo}”
- We need a long, horizontal space at the bottom of the poster which says “Chamberlain Ballet is funded in part by:”, then shows the logos of our secondary sponsors (also TBC, but we are expecting 7-10 of these)
**VISUAL STYLE BRIEF**
- Visually arresting, classical contemporary feel.
- It needs to feel relevant, edgy, fresh and clean.
- Feel free to choose a a primary and secondary font - but no more the two
- Color scheme: blue, gray, cool tones but create enough contrast to stand out
- We want the make the viewer feel: wonderment, excited, on-the-edge,
- We have supplied some photography to use, but feel free to modify and play with the images - find an interesting way of using it. Do not feel compelled to use all the photos - choose one that you feel works best for your design.
