Logo Design Brief
We are a liberal religious nonprofit that builds justice and compassion for animals.
We need a logo design for a nonprofit that 1) is Unitarian Universalist and 2) for “all animals.”
Unitarian Universalist: Unitarian Universalism is a religious movement that is typically represented by a “flaming chalice.” Examples of “flaming chalice” logos are uploaded. It is okay to incorporate the “flaming chalice” logo into the design, or adapt the flaming chalice as needed. All animals: Be sure to represent a diverse mix of species, with particular focus on farmed animals and common pets. Should not all be mammals. Can be abstract representations. Can include a person, a human hand, etc. but does not need to.
The design should be professional, modern/clean/simple, warm and friendly without being cartoonish. The example we uploaded from shutterstock is great in showing the “all animals” theme but is too cartoonish.
Our new website features this shade of green: #629C4E. However, we are open to changing the website to match the logo. Consider using eye catching colors - red orange, deep coral, intense blue green, bright butterscotch yellow.
If possible, the logo should have its elements be recognizable when the logo is used at a small size.
We expect to mostly use the logo on a white background, both online and on paper. For the final product, we would request a transparent .png file.
Updates
We had originally not thought we could include the full name of our organization in the logo, because the name is long: "Unitarian Universalist Animal Ministry". However, if you can include the full name of the organization, we would be very open to that instead of just "UUAM."
