Logo Design Brief
My business' main focus is responsible wildlife travel, and I expect to have a sizeable percentage of my clients also be vegetarian or vegan, so I want to signal that I'll be able to help them travel in a way that meets their values. I already had one logo created, but I'm not entirely happy with it (attached below...open to either tweaks to this or an entirely new design). The idea behind the current version of the logo was to include symbolism for compassion (the heart), nature (the leaf), wildlife (the footprint), and veganism (the "vegan V")...plus, of course, the airplane.
One of the challenges with the current design is the shape. Although I had a simple (heart only) version created, it's still wider than it is tall, which creates a lot of white space in profile pics. Also, the weight of the lines is very light, so it's difficult to see when it's small.
The trips I'll be selling will be on the expensive end, so I would love something that manages to combine classy with adventure. I like the idea of using a script font, ideally a free one so I can carry it throughout my other materials. Sacramento, my current choice, doesn't look as professional as I'd hoped, so I think I'd like a new one, but I do want to keep using Monserrat as my primary font, so they should pair well together. My website is currently using the tagline "Ethical Adventures for Responsible Travelers." I realize that's too much for a logo, but is more for context on overall vibe/ethos. I'll also attach a screenshot of my website homepage to help with the vibe.
Whatever design I end up with, I'd like three "shapes": a simple version (no company name), a horizontal/header version (simple design plus company name, probably side-by-side to create a wide image), and stacked/layered (for more compact spaces, but where I still want a logo that includes the company name, rather than just the simple version).
I'm attaching a PDF of my current logo variations but can provide .ai, .eps, or .jpg versions if those would be helpful to work from. The attached doc also includes my color palate, which I'd like to keep.
