Logo Design Brief

We have recently repainted our sailboat and want to make the name design fancier than what we had previously. We are a group of friends in our 30s and 40s that race the boat competitively, but also have a lot of fun together. The boat is now painted gray and black. The logo should be black, and maybe a little but of teal green (one of the old boat colors). I included pictures of what it used to look like and the new paint job. PLEASE NO BOATS IN THE DESIGN. NAME ONLY.
