Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new community foundation in Mid-Missouri.
The mission of the Phelps County Community Foundation is to enhance the quality of life in our region through resource development, collaboration, networking, community grantmaking, and public leadership.
The organization is a nonprofit offering community grants to nonprofits working to make a difference.
The final design should communicate community, growth, giving , & connections.
In our community there is another organization that has a gear as part of their logo. Although we want them to have separate identities, we are also looking for connection between the two. Perhaps, adding a gear to the design of the logo. The other organization is Geared for Phelps: https://gearedforphelps.com/
