Logo Design Brief

We would like a logo design for a new law firm licensed to practice in New Mexico, Arizona and Nevada (for now possibly Colorado soon) called Strategic Legal and Wealth Advisory Group. We would like a simple minimalist design that is geared toward high net worth individuals. We would like the final design to create a visual identity that conveys professionalism, sophistication and a strong sense of trustworthiness. We'd like the design to feel exclusive and upscale, but also approachable and trustworthy. We'd like the colors to be muted, not really bold colors, much like the feel of the southwest. (if we can stay away from trees that would be great, a lot of people in our field use trees for some reason.
