Logo Design Brief

Pro-Install is a medium size homeware retail store located in the Falkland Islands, a British overseas territory in the South Atlantic. We serve the local population, businesses operating in the Islands (Offices, guest houses, self-catering houses, rental properties), the military base.
We purchased the business from its previous owners in April 2022. The name originates from their origins supplying and fitting kitchens and bathrooms. They then branched into retail creating the shop we have today. The business continues to provide a supply and fit service for kitchens and bathroom.
Pro-Install Home Interiors is owned by Seafish Chandlery Ltd, a business that owns a supermarket. Chandlery Supermarket (www.chandlery.co.fk). The purchase of Pro-Install sees the company branch out into the ‘home living’ arena.

Below is our current logo which was created by the previous owners of the business.

Pro-Install has been going through some changes within the new ownership and we would like to give a new look not just to our shop but also to our logo. Our current logo is quite dull and dark, whereas the shop is vibrant and colourful with the trending products in stock. We are a young and dynamic team, approachable and in close contact with our customers on daily basis. We would like our logo to represent us - vibrant and friendly, simple but modern.
We have wide variety of products in multiple categories such as kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, home decor, home fragrance, small and large appliances, soft furnishings, lighting, personal care, technology, audio/visual, e-Vape etc.
With our fair prices and professional approach, we are customers' first choice as here they feel valued compared to other providers in the Islands.
Our main competitor is the internet where customers, if they are prepared to wait, can order online and have shipped to the Islands. For this reason we also have an ordering service where we can order and ship goods from UK to the Islands managing the process and removing the hassle and risk as customers pay on arrival in the Islands. Our logo also wants to convey reliability and dependability.
Some pointers:
 We only serve the domestic market, so any logo linking us to the Falkland Islands or South West Atlantic is unnecessary.
 The new logo does not require to 'link back' to the Seafish Chandlery logo.
 The new logo does not necessarily require to include the name of the business in it as long as it can comfortably sit alongside the business name.
