Poster Design Brief

Fossil Ridge HS is producing 'Bright Star'. We have a student marketing team working with student artist to produce a professional looking poster to advertise the show around town and at school. We have gone through several versions of artwork and chosen a concept that we think will make a good poster. We would like you to make it look as professional and polished as possible for use for posters, and perhaps program flyer and t-shirt designs later on.

The text on the poster should be adjusted appropriately, and the copy should include:
1. Bright Star (Title-most prominent)
2. Inspired by a true story (Smaller than the title close to the titles -maybe under the title)
3. April 14, 15, 21, 22 at 7pm (Include show dates in a prominent easy to see spot)
4. www.booktix.com (the link to purchase tickets)
5. Music, Book & Story by Steve Martin
6. Music, Book & Story by Edie Brickell
(Note: The names of the Composer, Lyricist, and Bookwriter shall be equal in size, type, coloring, boldness, and prominence. No billing shall appear in type larger or more prominent than the billing to the Authors except for the title of the play-per licensing agreement)
7. Produced by Joey Parnens, Sue Wagner, John Johnson Zebulon LLC, Hay Alix & Una Jackman, Len Blavtink, James L. Nedlander, Carson & Joseph Gleberman, Balboa Park Productions, The Shubert Organization, Jamie deRoy/Catherine Alder/Cricket Jiranek (Tiny font)
8. In Association With Rodger Hess, A.C. Orange International, Broadway Across America, Sally Jacobs & Warner Baker Diana DiMenna, Exeter Capital, Agnes Gund, True Love Productions And The Old Globe (Tiny font)
9. “Bright Star” is presented through special arrangement with all authorized performance materials are supplied by
Theatrical Rights Worldwide
118 Avenue of the Americans, Suite 640,
New York, NY 10036. www.theatricalrights.com (Even smaller yet in Italics)
10. Fossil Ridge Theatre Presents (at the top fairly small)

The three files are our original concept art, the original broadway poster, and a silhouette of the blue ridge mountains we will make into some background scenery pieces for the show.

To clarify the concept, we would like to se
- a star in place of the dot of the I in the word bright.
-a old locomotive (the show is set in 1920-1940)on a archway bridge.
-the Blue Ridge Mountain skyline with trees.
-there should be two faces, one male and one female facing each other silhouetted inside the arches of the bridge.
- a starry night.
-blues and teals of various colors.
