Logo Design Brief
DO NOT BASE THE DESIGN ON THE NAME
A software service (backend system) that allows users to keep a running calculation over data being sent to it periodically. For example, to keep a running average of a set of numbers. Numbers are being sent to the service (one at a time) and at any time the service can tell you what is the average of the numbers it has seen so far.
Computing the average is an example of a calculation. Other calculations or computations are possible, the data sent or received can be more than just single numbers. It can also include lists, sets, groups, text, etc. Data can also be time dependent (aka, only calculate over the last 30 minutes).
The data being sent in can come from many different senders, and can be read by many different readers. Sends, reads and computations are very very fast. Some calculations can be approximate.
Similar concepts may include counting, addition, accounting, adding, tallying, accumulation, incrementing, decrementing, listing, stacking.
The project doesn't have a name yet, but it'll likely be a 3 letter acronym such as FCI - Function Capable Incrementor
The name is SECONDARY, do not make the name a key part of the design.
A character design is possible but needs to be done carefully. It has been said that since the system can count, a count (such as Count Dracula) may be an option.
Updates
Updated brief to reiterate that the logo should NOT be based on the name or initials.
Potential imagery may include tally marks or a count (such as count Dracula). See brief and messages.

Requirements
Nice to have
- Simple design, solid colors, no gradients.
Should not have
- Don't base design on name. The service can be considered an online service, but it's not a cloud. It's a backend system.
