Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new family farm in Brentwood, Tennessee. We'd like to see a design that features a large mature oak tree in the middle, with the Canopy of the tree provide a structural overhang for the design below.

On the ground underneath the tree, we'd like to feature the silhouette of a Rooster facing a Hen, to represent the marriage between a husband and a wife - this should be a focal point, underneath the tree. In addition, since we have 7 children, we would love to show 7 little baby chicklets on either side to represent the family. If possible, the ground/land beneath the tree could include some texture or grasses or little sprouting leaves/plants to represent growth - but make it subtle and natural - not forced or busy. Bring the Rooster and Hen to the center of the design, underneath the tree - as a focal point.

We want the imagery to look organic and hand-crafted, perhaps with a sketch-like quality to it.

The design can be black/white, or can use an earth color such as green or brown, but the color should NOT be bright. Rather, if using an earthy color, it should look weathered/faded, not overly bright.



Try not to make the design look overly busy. Simple and elegant is great.
