Logo Design Brief

We need a logo designed for the Kununurra Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service. Notes and a sketch are attached in the design brief.

The logo should incorporate the elements in the sketched design. These include:
• Boab tree as a silhouette
• Crossed Hooligan tool and axe in front of the boab.
• Ladder and ceiling hook
• Hydrant standpipe (BIC)
• The station number “107”
• Wording
o Fire&Rescue
o Western Australia
o Kununurra
o Est 1973 (above the boab inside the circle
may work better than where it is on the
sketch)
• Western Australia and Kununurra should be in a
ribbon style like the WA Fire & Rescue Logo shown.
• Colours can be close to the WA Fire and Rescue
logo shown. Or of a suitable pallet that represents
a fire service (red etc.)
• Logo should be suitable for print, engraving, tee
shirts, coins etc.
• Fire fighters cross (Florian cross)
• Circle can be continuous rope like the Volunteer
Fire & Emergency Services logo shown.
• General shape should be similar to the WA Fire
and Rescue logo shown.
