Logo Design Brief

Hello! Branson is a fun and active tourist town with all sorts of family friendly activities in the beautiful Ozark mountains of Southwest Missouri.

Tribesman Resort is a small- to medium-sized "mom and pop" resort that rents out our cabins and condos as short term rentals to travelers (for example on sites like Airbnb & VRBO, as well as our own website which will be redesigned).

The resort has been around for decades without much updating. We just purchased the property a few weeks ago and will be renovating all the units and refreshing the property, as well as refreshing/updating the brand. The logo is an important part of this refresh.

The resort is located right next to beautiful Table Rock Lake and is surrounded by trees, so it's a very scenic setting with a gentle sloping hill down to the water.

We want our logo to be modern, minimal, clean, and fun, with a touch of rustic. We want it to communicate a connection to nature (like the lake and trees around), and want it to feel family-friendly and refreshed/updated. Blue, green, and gray tones. The logo could have a simple and minimal icon (think tree, lake, etc.), but doesn't have to have an icon.

A slogan underneath the main business name of "Tribesman Resort" could say "on table rock lake", but does NOT have to. That's just an option so we can see how it looks. If it just says "Tribesman Resort" that's fine too.

Again our main goal with the look and feel of the logo is to be modern, minimal, clean & fun, with a touch of rustic. We say modern, but we don't mean super modern or edgy fonts. Because the resort is still rustic and very much connected to nature...so nothing so modern that feels like it would belong on the side of a spaceship.

Requirements

Nice to have

• A simple memorable icon. Nothing too complicated. An icon, if present, should not be larger than the business name.

Should not have

• Tall mountain peaks. The Ozark Mountains, where we're located, are more like rolling hills than mountains. Evergreen trees and peaks feel out of place. But rolling hills and decidious trees are more in line with the surroundings. (The logo doesn't HAVE to have either trees or hills, but it can if they're simple.)
