Logo Design Brief

I am looking to get some logo design ideas for my new golf course...simply called "The Club". I would like to use the "Club" from a deck of cards as the primary image. Attached is a rough idea that I put together. Something similar to this could be a starting place. I would also like to look at what it what it could look like if it was named "The Club of Lake Norman" or the "The Golf Club of Lake Norman". I like a vintage feel.
