Logo Design Brief

I've attached a rough concept done in Photoshop, and I’m mostly happy with the basic elements/concept but would like a more polished, professional design.

The main reptiles I am breeding are snakes, specifically Boas and Carpet Pythons.

The main colors I am pretty set on are black, blue, and white. I was originally thinking about using a slightly lighter color blue for the background.

I was also hoping for some sort of detail in the snake coils or something similar in order to add some life into the snake.

I like the idea of a spray paint based element but other than that I’m open to ideas.

I'm not sure exactly how much detail should go into the logo or exactly what details would give those results so hopefully that's where your expertise can come in.

I'd like the final file to be in Adobe Illustrator with one version that is round with the letters BCR (like the file attached) and one version that is rectangle with my business name (Blue Collar Reptiles).
