Logo Design Brief

I run a non-profit light show for the holidays that I'd like a new logo designed for. The name of the show is 'Woodside Lights' located in 'Ashland, VA' established in 2012. I have attached an example of a design I really like, especially the emblem, layout & pixelization of the graphic. But, I don't want to direct copy it of course. Instead of a deer though, a star or tree would be good. I'm after high tech, edgy, but not overly complex.
