Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for a small tote bag business that I am starting. I am based in Hawaii. Business is called UMI Tote.
Tote bag has a nautical history, I choice the name UMI because UMI in Japanese means sea, which also honors the nautical history of the tote bag, and it's also a Hawaiian name. I believe UMI represents both the Hawaii and Japan which are both strong cultures on the Hawaiian islands.
I would like the design to have nautical feel, ocean and a paper boat. Paper boat to represent ocean, different than a boat. I am open to suggestions as well, maybe a sail similar to outrigger canoe or a Classic Regatta sail.
Font: DK Southside Fizz with UMI TOTE all caps

Must have

• paper boat or single sail boat modern feel. Dark Blue primary color, shades of blue and DK Southside Fizz font. I like the the letter O with dot bellow it.

Nice to have

• waves - modern style. Maybe in square instead of circle see sample logo card with square border.
