Mascot Design Brief

Hi All,
I am looking for a mascot for my Ice Cream Store, "Conch Custard" in the Florida Keys. I am looking for a 2D mascot that lives in a Queen Conch. My logo is attached. I also attached a 3D image of a queen conch shell so designers can get any view of a conch they want.

My mascot will need:
1). I would like this mascot to be in a queen conch shell. I attached an OBJ file so designers can see any side of a Queen Conch.

2). The Conch animal inside of the shell should be caricature of a queen conch.
Below is a video of a live queen conch. You can see stem like appendages in the beginning of the video that are its eyes, so that would be cool to incorporate google eyes like the video below along with legs and a tongue. Look at images of “Gary The Snail” in the SpongeBob cartoon series for inspiration.

3). At some point down the road, I will hire an animator to add life to my 2D Mascot. In the future, I will want to run a design project here to turn my 2D mascot into a 3D animated walking and talking one, so the body features now need to allow for that.

4). If shoes are incorporated, they should be flip-flops. It’s a Florida Keys thing!

5). One goal for the future animation is to have it lick ice cream, so keep that in mine with your design. Again, this is for a static, NON-Animated mascot, but I want designers to know my future plans.

6). Look at Patrick the starfish from SpongeBob for possible body ideas.

7). I was thinking that the Conch with the Ice Cream on top could be represented by adding a baseball cap that was shaped like the ice cream in my logo. That way the Mascot could be seen with and without the ice cream top.

8). I would like the final Mascot files in a Vector format. Corel Draw ( CDR ) format would be my choice if possible.

9). If you also do 3D animation, that will be a bonus. That way you could be part of the next phase of my Mascot in a few months from now!

In closing, before I can start an animation design project, I need the perfect Mascot. Submit your idea and I look forward to working with one of you very soon!
