Logo Design Brief

I would like a logo for a self-storage (also known as mini storage) facility. The logo will be used for web, employee shirts and signage. The business is the same as Public Storage, Extra Space Storage, Simple Storage, etc. The attached file is something that was started (it would be lovely if a smiley face could be incorporated).

Target Market(s)

Everyday person. Owner or renter of a house/apartment. Man or woman. People that are moving into a new residence typically need storage.

Requirements

Must have

• The word STORAGE

Nice to have

• Would like to see a "storage unit" or circular/disk lock to emphasize security. We would like to have a traditional smiley face in the logo some way if possible.

Should not have

• Not a traditional padlock with a U-shape to it since these are very unsecure. I don't want people in the logo as we do not involve the business in people moving or packing.
