Logo Design Brief

Merakisis is a woman-owned small business, wholesale distribution and services company. It is comprised of 4 sisters and their mother. They are all passionate and devoted people which is where the root name 'Meraki' was generated... and 'sis' was short for sisters. Meraki is latin for: to do something with passion, with absolute devotion, with undivided attention. The logo should support this passion/complete devotion idea to supporting our customers and their needs with unending passion and devotion. In addition, each of the sisters is wanting to give back to other woman with a part of the company profits (one of the sisters is a 2x cancer survivor so they are supporting Breast Cancer, another has a passion around learning disabilities, another is passionate about battered woman shelters and then the 4th is passionate about ensuring woman & children are fed through Food Banks. It is this passion for their family, for their causes and this company that needs a special logo designed.
