Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new roofing company named Polaris Roofing based in Estero Florida. We will be completing work throughout the state consisting of roof repairs, re roofs, and hurricane restoration re roofing. The logo should consist of some type of multi-pointed star (8 points). Polaris is referred to as the brightest star in the sky, normally more commonly referred to as the North Star. The logo could possibly be in a red-white-blue type pattern but doesn't have to be if there is a great idea out there. The logo needs to be able to look good on a white colored background or able to be inverted on colors as needed for different colored backgrounds possibly. Let's see what you have and how creative you can be!! :-)
