Hello,
Thank you for taking a look at my gate project. The gate is a solid rectangular piece of steel that is 5’ high by 20’ wide and will have one cut in the middle at 10’ to create two halves. This sheet of steel will hinge to a 12” diameter round steel post. The pencil drawing uploaded is a representation of desired layout. I uploaded two photos of a mama cougar and one photo of baby cougars playing on a tree. The pencil drawing depicts the top edge jagged with the mountains of Central Oregon... the Three Sisters and Mt Bachelor and Broken Top. I would like to stick to the Mt outline as close as possible. The shadowing and snow line effects on the mountains can be embellished or created any ways you would like. Do you show 5 photos uploaded? It looks like I have 5 photos uploaded but please let me know if not, or any other questions and I will try to help right away.
Thank you,
Angela

Hi,

Can you upload the image of the "mountains of Central Oregon" which you used for the pencil drawing? Just like you uploaded lion and cub images.

Thanks

Hello,

I didn’t use an image or photograph for the mountain outline. I will upload two photographs of the Central Oregon mountains but they appear very different depending on where you are taking the picture from. The outline on the top edge of the gate on the pencil drawing is what I like best and the closest approximation standing where the actual gate will be placed. The snow shadows I drew in could be way better. I hope this helps, feel free to ask more questions and thank you for working on this project!

The uploaded image of the gate with bears is a good example of how the gate will work, opening in the center of the image. In my design I have requested the TOP edge to be a jagged outline of the mountains, no straight line frame. However, the centerline where the gate will open needs to be a straight vertical line for strength and also so no one gets cut or scraped. This vertical line is depicted on my pencil drawing as well as the bear gate. The bear gate is also a great example of how the trees should look.
This will be a cut out. It will be a solid sheet of steel placed on a large cutting table and a CAD plasma cutter will cut the design. This means that the elements have to tie together or be touching in some way so they don’t fall out on the floor when the gate is in place vertically.

Hello Project owner, can you give us designer some feedback again our design?. Let us know if our design was on the right direction with your desire. So we can make another design based on your feedback.

PS: if you want to rate the star on our design, Please leave the star on zero if you don't like it. 1-3 star can impact designer profile itself. I hope you can understand about it.
