Logo Design Brief

This company is a commodities trading company. It uses a proprietary trading platform with the same name. The logo should be in a theme of financial services, commodities trading, and risk management. We would prefer color schemes in black, green, grey, and red. The logo should have it's name and could possibly incorporate the use of a unique icon. We would specifically like to highlight the X. I've attached some examples below but it should not be a blatant copy. I'm looking for some more creativity.
