Logo Design Brief

A private equity fund has a division we call "BeSIC". It is the Blue Squirrel Innovation Center. The group works on innovative new companies and we need a innovative logo. Conceptually we'd like a squirrel being a fun innovative nerd. One idea internally was a beanie with a spinner on top while the cartoon squirrel gave a peace sign or a "hang loose" sign. The idea is to be playful and cartoonish.
