Logo Design Brief

We own a three story restaurant. The bottom two floors are the actual restaurant. It is called Blackbird. The third floor is a bar with a private entrance. We are remodeling it and rebranding the space. The primary colors in the space are black, white, and sage green. The logo doesn't have to be any of that, but needs to be complimentary. We want a cool logo that holds to our brand, but is also its own thing. No one has to adhere to any particular font. We are initially wide open to your ideas and would be interested in text only OR text with graphics. We are hoping to be inspired by you! Attached are the main restaurant logo (but again, you don't have to try to match that) and an image of a blackbird we have used on printed materials (other graphic ideas are more than welcome!)
