Book Cover Design Brief
I need a book cover designed for "Compassionate Prosperity. When Success is Not Enough." The book encourages businesses to take up a social mission (that is, to have a social impact, such as corporate social responsibility.) in doing so, they find a greater sense of purpose, their employees and the community are more engaged, and their business grows. I use stories from my podcast Social Mission Revolution. 2 key word/phrases that may help t think about are Philanthropy and Corporate Social Responsibility.
This book will be followed by 1 or 2 other books. Another seies of books will also soon requre work.
The market is Mid-sized business owners and CEOs. They have built up the business to a successful place but now find that doesn't bring fulfilment or happiness. The cover needs to have a business or corporate feel.
The Colouring of the book, focus on blues and purples.
This will be a thin book - a quick and easy read of around 110 pages. It is 5x8 inches.
I would be happy to have a photo of me incorporated, but not the focus. I could have a photo done as directed by the designer, as I am planning to have a photoshoot done soon.
Fonts - Please chose a font with the rounded "a", such as in the Century Gothic font, however, open to suggestions.
The back cover will include:
o A book blurb – still to be written
o 2 or 3 endorsements
o Publishing logo (as it is my own publishing company.

I am extending this for a couple of days as I provided some feedback this morning that some of the designers haven't had the opportunity to implement. There are new photos of me that may be able to be used for those who have included old ones. There are some beautiful designs to choose from. As we go into the last day, I am becoming more aware of what I am looking for.
