Logo Design Brief

We need a new logo for our fencing and civil construction business called PPG Fencing & Civil. Our business as quickly grown from a small rural fencing business employing 2-3 employees to a larger commercial operation with 15+ employees working in NSW and QLD, Australia. As a result of the growth we are changing our business name from PPG Timber & Rural Contracting to PPG Fencing & Civil.

For the past 12 months we have undertaken contracts in koala, snake and stock fence on the edge of a mine site. We have also done earthworks preparing the site for construction. We have gained a reputation for being no-nonsense, straight talking and get the job done approach.

I attach a copy of our old logo. The arrow over the G had significance as it was our livestock brand. We are interested in seeing designs that both keep the arrow over the G or ones with it removed.

We would like our logo to be strong, eye-catching, modern and masculine. We do not want any pictures of fences or machinery. It will be used on everything from shirts (so needs to embroider well) to future website.
