Logo Design Brief

Conference logo for academic society whose members study the Middle East and North Africa, encompassing the regions from Morocco to Pakistan, including Turkey and Central Asia.

We like the logo to incorporate elements of the Colorado Rocky Mountains (maybe the landscape) yet have an element from the Middle East drawing from the artistic wealth of that region (tiles, mosaics, design elements, textiles, etc). This part isn't the emphasis but incorporated.

Colors: Royal blue (from our company logo) plus purple and gold.
