Book Cover Design Brief
I am writing a print book. I need cover designs to evaluate with your creativity. It is a nonfiction memoir meets self-help guide to living with a rare, incurable chronic illness called EDS. See attached Word doc for book details and copy. It is designed to be an inspiration story of living well with this disease so mindset is a key theme. I'm looking for all types of ideas including photography (sailboat, mountain, journey concepts), type flat designs highlighting hypermobility (a key part of the disease), including good use of color and white space. I want it to be legible, intriguing, and emotive if possible. I need someone to be able to produce and provide the production files and/or edit the final text back copy as it is not yet final. I will be sharing the contest with my fan base. I will ultimately need the cover, back cover, spine, and audio and ebook covers done all the same just reformatted to size. Print book 6x9 to be done first. I dont want to provide too much direction so you can be creative.
Updates
I uploaded a new brief for updated author name and back cover. Please update and I will start the poll. I will also extend the project timeline.
