Logo Design Brief

I'm starting a real estate investment company called Blue Star Consulting, LLC. We buy and sell residential real estate. I need a logo for all marketing material; including website, print marketing (postcards & letters), and business cards.

I would like to incorporate the color blue (similar to the blue on the Israeli flag). If possible, I'd also like to incorporate the outline of a six-sided star, but I'm not tied to this. And I do not want the logo to blatantly look like the Star of David.

I want my brand to convey an honest and trustworthy resource to solving real estate problems.

I'm also considering including a slogan of "a different approach to real estate". However, I'm not sold on this, and not even sure this should be included in the logo.
