Book Cover Design Brief

Front & rear book cover for a 275 page fiction novel called Will O' the Wind.
It spans the 1950s to the 1970s about a man who didn't want to follow in his father's footsteps as a factory worker. He wanted to go to college and be his own boss. College was interrupted by the Korean War, and he joined the Navy to learn how to fly. When he was given a dangerous mission, he had to decide whether to stay in the Navy or return to college.
The theme is “Set the course, and then raise your sails”
Images and colors: Similarities using the wind for both sailing and flying. Use the colors of both flying sky and the ocean blue.
Would like to use picture of the Navy’s carrier based aircraft atom bomber, the AJ, and a sailboat.
