Logo Design Brief

I need a logo design for my one-person business. I teach Qigong and offer Thai massage. I'm using the name Qily - Qi as in the Chinese name Qi for life energy cultivated by Qigong and internal martial arts. I would like the design to communicate qualities associated with vibrant health, calmness of meditation, health-giving touch of a therapist, perhaps an "ancient" feel. It could combine the delicate style of everything Thai with some artsy Chinese element. I would like to avoid using the yin/yang symbol anywhere - circular shapes are fine by all means, but I want to steer away from obvious references to yin/yang.
