Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a jewelry company, named Greenleaf & Crosby. We are based in Palm Beach, Florida and originally established in the mid-19th century. We were acquired about twenty years ago by a large competitor, but the family has been able to reacquire the business to start anew. We sell very high-end jewelry and watches to a discerning, affluent clientele (akin to some of the large, global jewelry brands like Cartier or Harry Winston). The logo should communicate luxury without being ostentatious. It should convey the longevity of the Greenleaf & Crosby brand: we've been around for over a hundred years because we've always tried to offer the very highest level of customer service, and we hope to be around for another hundred years. We envision the logo incorporating Greenleaf & Crosby above with EST 1868 centered below.
