Logo Design Brief

SA stands for South Australia, one of 7 states in Australia.

We need a logo design for a new Medical Practice of Specialist Pediatricians, Newborn Specialists and allied health staff. We are starting business in Adelaide, South Australia. This is a town of 1.2 M population. We intend to attract parents in Adelaide and rest of the state (country towns) to bring their children to see us.

Pediatric specialists will include general pediatricians who look after behavioural and medical problems in children, newborn specialists who look after very sick premature infants, pediatric heart specialists, pediatric lung specialist, pediatric allergist, pediatric ENT surgeon, Pediatric gastroenterologist and so on. Allied health staff who will help these patients include pediatric physiotherapist, occupational therapist, speech therapist.

One of the doctors in this practice already has a website www.drsinhal.com.

Other similar businesses in the city (competitors) are Adelaide Pediatrics (has 8 branches), Burnside Pediatrics, Priority Pediatrics and Southside kids (these 4 have 1 branch each). Please have a look at their websites to get an idea of what we are planning to do.

We are planning to have 3 locations to start with.

Final design should communicate compassionate and comprehensive care of newborns and children with any complex problem and gentleness of practitioners who take time to listen to the parents.

Most of the designs I have received so far have focus only on newborns. They also need to show that we will look after children who are 1-18 year old. Can designers please redesign keeping this in mind? Definition of pediatrics is up to 18 year age. Definition of newborns is up to 1 month age. Specialist doctors and allied health like physio/dietician/speech therapists will look after all age groups from birth to 18 year age. This needs to come across. Thanks a lot.
