Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for RVT Month, dedicated to appreciation for Registered Veterinary Technicians across Canada, as well as events to promote them. This needs to be able to go on branded merchandise, including embroidery, and needs to be use in print and electronic materials as well. The main logo should be 1-3 colours, and we will nee a black version and a white version as well. The theme this year is superheroes, but we want the logo to remain professional, and not comic. I have attached last year's logo for inspiration, but it can be entirely different.
