Logo Design Brief

I require a logo for a business website. This is a website to showcase the work that myself and my team are conducting. We are healthcare researchers (predominantly physiotherapists) involved in lung health with a focus on physical rehabilitation / exercise. Our group is called 'ResPTlab' (respiratory physiotherapy laboratory). I require a logo that reflects lungs and Australia. I have an image already drafted but would like an improvement using a similar theme of image and colours. I am not happy with the shape of Australia that I drafted. I would like a 'cleaner' shape - not overly detailed on the borders etc.
