Illustration Design Brief

I am working on a book chapter "Underground mine communication technologies". Some of the illustrations I can generate by myself, however, there are about 10 illustrations I cannot do by myself. I have the drafts, but I am not a designer, my drafts are ugly :-). Hence, I need a professional designer to help me.
