Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for our new boutique. The location of the boutique is unique as it sits on an acre and a half of land near a busy town. Originally the surrounding land was part of the farm the previous owners use to run. The boutique will be an adorable little farm house converted to boutique. We are keeping and building on the original elements of the farmhouse but giving it an updated sophisticated feel. Vaulting the ceilings by eliminating the small second floor. There will be light wood tones for the floor, black iron piping for hanging fixtures for clothing, natural wood tones for shelving and display tables. The boutique will be a collective of local artisans that rent space to sell their products. This may be candles, jewelry, home decor, boutique clothing, etc. The boutique will have a small open concept kitchen that sells espresso drinks and very light baked goods. The boutique will hopefully gain a reputation for being a great place to shop for gifts, clothes, unique items and get a good coffee while there. There is also a barn on the property. We will be renting out space in the barn to vendors that make larger items such as furniture. The Boutique is named Hazel and Blues after the eye color of my baby boy (hazel) and the color of my two girls eyes' (blue). The project is my heart and soul. I want it to bring the community together offer a unique experience. I want a soft color palette exept for a smokey/navy accent color. I like creams, blushes, mauves, soft blues, grays. I want the logo to feel rich with family, community, a bit sophisticated, but also grounded.

Must have

• Smokey/Navy color, soft blush, concrete or cream color

Nice to have

• I like elements of nature, but not overdone. Simple vines, branches, flowers etc. I lean towards more organic designs and flowing fonts. Sophisticated, earthy, natural. Color-wise I love blushes, creams, Smokey navy blue colors, pale blues, gray. A foil or metallic element might be nice.

Should not have

• Hard or geometric shapes. Bright Primary colors.
