Logo Design Brief

The logo will be used for initially for letterhead and email signatures. Then a website and ultimately signage on a building. The law firm is my name "Levi Adams Law." However, the legal name is "Levi Adams Law, PLLC." I don't believe we need to include the "PLLC" however I'm open to ideas. I have practiced for a large firm in the area for many years, and am setting up my own firm. I have a fairly unique first name and I hope that many previous clients I've had will recognize it. I'd like the logo to be attractive of course, but also allow people to recognize my name. I'm hoping for something that shows I am younger, more modern, yet confident and professional. I don't want any bright colors, I'd prefer it to be black, white, and/or gray....if any color were to be added I'd prefer red.
