Logo Design Brief

The base of the logo i want it to be the outline of Vancouver Island as detailed as possible. The island colors i want to be like a dive flag. I also want tentacles wrapping around the island like a sea monster is trying to grab it. The back ground color should be black or able to be applied to any color
Company Name can be added to logo design but not sure....
I really like the detail in the island photo that I have attached and I also really like the style of the two diver logo with gold (file#4). If I could remove diver from the octopus one and replace with the island we would be set!
I am looking for a modern, detailed... Bad ass look similar to the examples provided.
Colors to consider, gold on black or silver on black
