Logo Design Brief

Hi we need a logo for our new Accounting firm. It needs to be squarish to allow its use on Cards, Graphics etc. We like the use of a Star as part of the graphic but this is not compulsory. I have uploaded the logo of our existing firm. With time this new logo you are making will replace this old one so similar shapes and colors is good but I don't just want an exact replica otherwise I would not bother making a new logo!.....

We want it to look Modern but established. Overall we want our eventual branding, website etc to look like we have been operating for years.
